What Are Social Media Ad Safe Zones?
Safe zones are the regions of your ad canvas that stay visible after a platform renders its UI: profile badges, CTA buttons, engagement rows, and captions. Everything outside the safe zone is a danger zone. Content placed there will be partially or fully hidden before a single user sees your ad.
These specs are optimized for paid ad placements. Ads have slightly different overlays than organic posts (CTA buttons, "Sponsored" badges). If you're running ads through Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, or any other paid channel, use the platform-specific checker above to verify your creative before launch. Want to see how your ad looks in a real feed? Try the ad preview tool.
I manually compiled every spec from every platform's official ad documentation into the overlay templates and checker above so you don't have to.
