How AdKit protects your ad accounts

Short answer: no, connecting AdKit will not get your ad account banned. It is an approved partner on every platform it connects to, it works only through official APIs, and your agent's changes wait as drafts until they are approved. The longer answer is below.

Three things make AdKit safe

Officially approved

AdKit passed each platform's app review to get API access: Google, Meta, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, and X.

Official APIs only

Every change goes through the platform's public API and shows up in your account's own change history, like any normal edit.

You approve changes

Your agent works in drafts. Nothing goes live until it is approved, by you or by rules you set.

Running your ads using AdKit won't get your account flagged. An account that normally launches ten ads a week suddenly pushing 1,000 in ten minutes might get reviewed, but that's true whatever tool was used to launch them.

Platform policies still apply to the ads themselves. A rule-breaking ad gets flagged whether it was made in Ads Manager or by an agent, and nothing can get it approved. What AdKit guarantees: the connection, and the way changes reach your account, add zero risk on top.

"I've been very anti-MCP since the beginning because of fear of a rogue MCP "wiping out" everything, but the guardrails are solid and the functionality are amazing. I'm doing work in minutes that used to take hours. The ad campaign audits are solid because I can combine my existing SOP's for fast deployment on all the platforms. Definitely would recommend 10/10. Huge time saver, amazing MCP for any internet marketer."

Your controls

Nothing goes live without you

Ad platforms have no undo button, not even in their own dashboards. So AdKit treats publishing as the step that deserves a checkpoint.

Every change your agent makes lands as a draft inside AdKit. A draft is not a paused campaign: it lives in AdKit, not in your ad account.

Some tools launch campaigns "paused by default" and call that safety. But a paused campaign is already in your live account, one status change away from spending, and ads usually enter platform review the moment they are created, paused or not. Drafts keep all of that out of your account until you approve. Publishing paused is a good habit on top, not the checkpoint.

On top of drafts, each connection has its own access level, so you choose how much rope each agent gets:

Disabled

The connection can do nothing. Pause an agent without tearing down the setup.

Read-only

Reports and analysis only. The right level for reporting bots and dashboards.

Draft only

The agent can prepare campaigns and changes, but a human clicks publish.

Draft + Publish

The agent can publish too. Changes still pass through drafts, so everything stays reviewable.

Publishing is always deliberate: your click, or an agent you explicitly trusted with publish access. Every published change keeps its draft record, so you can see what changed and when. Finer controls, per team member and per action, are on the way.

"Other tools I found were just small proxies for ad platform APIs. One bad call and you could mess up a live campaign. What I like about AdKit is that everything goes through a draft first. I review before anything goes live. That "buffer" between your agent and Meta is what makes it safe to use."

How your connection is protected

Your agent never holds keys

Your agent talks to AdKit, never to the ad platforms. Access keys stay on our servers, out of reach of any agent, prompt, or plugin.

Encrypted keys

Access keys are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and in transit. They never leave our servers.

Revocable anytime

Cut access in one click from AdKit, or from the platform's own connected-apps settings. Either side kills the connection instantly.

AdKit's code and infrastructure have been through two independent security audits. There is no SOC 2 certification yet. If you need a security questionnaire filled in, send it over.

For agencies

Keeping client accounts separate

Give each client their own project with its own connection and keys. One client's agent can then never see or touch another client's accounts.

One project per client

Each client's ad accounts, drafts, and assets live in their own project. Give a client's agent keys to that project only, and it cannot wander into another client's accounts.

Per-client keys and levels

Every project gets its own connections and API keys, each with its own access level. A reporting agent gets read-only, a junior team member gets draft-only.

Built for teams

Unlimited seats and no per-account fees. Whether you manage 3 client accounts or 50, the setup and the price work the same way.

"We switched to AdKit from another tool and haven't looked back. It does everything the alternative did, and then some. The biggest win for our agency has been managing ad accounts directly through Claude via terminal. Support has been genuinely great too, responsive and actually helpful. If you're running an agency and managing multiple ad accounts, this is worth a proper look."

Frequently asked questions

"Loving AdKit! It works flawlessly with my Claude Code setup, and the value is fantastic. I came from another tool and not only does it save me money, there's basically no trade-off for what I need, and the support is 10/10. Definitely recommend!"
