The Pipeboard alternative with flat, unlimited pricing
Pipeboard bills you per ad account. AdKit is one flat price for unlimited projects and seats, across Meta, Google, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, X, and Microsoft. It also does what Pipeboard can't: tracks every ad your competitors run, generates creative from it, and launches through a safe draft-first system. Think Ahrefs, but for ads.
The short version

|---|---|---|

"Loving AdKit! It works flawlessly with my Claude Code setup, and the value is fantastic. I came from Pipeboard and not only does it save me money, there's basically no trade-off for what I need, and the support is 10/10. Definitely recommend!"

The complete comparison
Safety & Security
Both are safe and secure apps approved by their respective ad platforms, but approach publishing differently.
Pipeboard makes changes directly in your live account, just paused. You review them in Ads Manager and flip them on. Safe enough: PAUSED = zero traffic.
AdKit takes the opposite route. Your live account stays untouched until you approve. Agents write drafts inside AdKit, you review, hit publish, and only then does Meta or Google see anything.
Both are safe, only difference is the blast radius: If a Pipeboard agent goes rogue, you get 200 paused campaigns to clean up in your account. If an AdKit agent goes rogue, the mess stays inside AdKit.

Who's cheaper? 👀
The models are different. Pipeboard charges per ad account. Plans run $29.90 to $199/mo, and every account past your tier's cap adds $10/mo. AdKit is flat: $29/mo for one project, $49/mo for unlimited projects, seats included.
At one account it's close: Pipeboard Pro is $29.90, AdKit is $29, and AdKit already bundles competitor tracking, the ad library, and creative tools.
The gap opens up for agencies. Around 25 accounts you're at Pipeboard's $199 Enterprise tier; 40 accounts runs near $350/mo, 100 accounts close to $950. AdKit stays at $49 flat the whole way.
Two honest points for Pipeboard: its free tier is permanent (2 accounts, no card), and it's open source if you'd rather fork and self-host.
One more angle on value: to match what AdKit bundles you'd stack a competitor tracker, a creative tool, and an ad library on top of Pipeboard. That's three more subscriptions.

Connector VS whole toolbox
Pipeboard has one job: plug your AI agent into your ad accounts. That's the whole product. Both tools now cover Meta, Google, and TikTok, so platform coverage is no longer a differentiator.
The difference is scope. AdKit gives you a full advertising toolbox. You can scrape every ad your competitors run, search a library of 500k+ ads (with hooks, video transcripts, and more), clone them, and launch them. All via your agent. The MCP is just one part of AdKit.
Simplest way to see it: AdKit is like Ahrefs, but for ads. A full toolbox that you and your AI agents can use to run ads.
Two approaches to Ads MCP
Pipeboard wraps Meta, Google, and TikTok APIs into 120+ MCP tools, every parameter exposed.
That sounds powerful, but in practice raw platform APIs are a mess and are NOT made for agents. They have edge cases everywhere, and sometimes up to three ways to do the same thing that each behave differently. Even engineers who work with them daily struggle 😬
AdKit simplifies all that in an agent-friendly format. Less thinking needed for your agent = less chance of it messing up.

Built for different users
Pipeboard is perfect for developers building custom automation. If your job is wiring ads into n8n flows, Python scripts, or your own systems, every API parameter exposed is exactly what you want.
AdKit is made for marketers running ads. Whether you work in a UI or drive everything through Claude or the terminal, you get the whole workflow in one place: browse competitors, save ads to a swipe file, generate variations in Studio, review drafts, hit publish. The agent is one piece inside a product built for the full job: research, brief, launch, watch.
The real divider isn't terminal versus UI. It's whether you're building the plumbing yourself or running the campaigns. Pick whichever matches your day.

"Other tools I found were just proxies for the ads API. One bad call and you could mess up a live campaign. What I like about AdKit is that everything goes through a draft first. That buffer between your agent and your live account is what makes it safe to use."

Why people switch from Pipeboard to AdKit
"We switched to AdKit from another tool and haven't looked back. It does everything the alternative did, and then some. The biggest win for our agency has been managing ad accounts directly through Claude via terminal. Support has been genuinely great too, responsive and actually helpful. If you're running an agency and managing multiple ad accounts, this is worth a proper look."
Still struggling to choose?
Pick AdKit if running ads is your actual job.
Your day is research, briefing, launching, watching results. Not writing integrations.
You want the full loop in one product: competitor tracking, swipe file, AI creative, safe launch.
You want drafts, not PAUSED. Your agent writes inside AdKit, not your live account. If it goes rogue, the mess stays contained.
You run ads on Meta, Google, or TikTok. All three are covered.
You run ads through Claude or the terminal and want it to just work, without wiring up APIs yourself.
That's marketers, founders running their own ads, growth leads, agencies.
Pick Pipeboard if you're wiring ads into a custom workflow.
You're building custom automation: n8n flows, Python scripts, bearer tokens wired into your own systems.
You want every API parameter exposed, with the flexibility that comes with it.
You want open-source tooling you can fork, self-host, and extend.
You've already got competitor research and creative tools covered. You just want the agent hookup.
If that's you, Pipeboard is a well-built pick.
"Now I can use my AI agent for monitoring competitors, creating static ads, publishing them, and analyzing their performance. This has 10x'd my capabilities to iterate on ads."

A word from the founder

Hi there 👋 I'm Nico, the founder of AdKit 😄
Before building startups, I was a media buyer. I managed over $1,000,000 in Ads, sold two startups grown with ads, and helped 1,000+ makers learn Meta Ads through my online guides.
I love ads but... it involves a lot of repetitive, boring work 😩 And I hated every second of it. So I built AdKit to fix that.
To let me and other marketers focus on the fun parts: the strategy, the thinking, the creativity. And not have to waste my time clicking around in buggy interfaces.
It's the app I always dreamed of, and I hope you'll like it too 😀
