Meet the Pipeboard alternative built for marketers
Pipeboard is a developer-focused MCP wrapping Meta, Google, and TikTok raw APIs. AdKit is like Ahref but for ads: It includes a MCP to let your agent manage your ads, but also tracks every ad your competitors run, generates creative from it, and manage ads with a safe draft-first system.
The short version
| Dimension | Pipeboard | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | A complete Ads toolbox with a built-in MCP. | A MCP access to ads platforms. |
| MCP Capabilities | Launch and manage campaigns, Track competitors & their ads, browse 300k+ ads, generate static ads. | Launch and manage campaigns. |
| Risk to mess up your ads | Zero. Agents write drafts inside AdKit and you can review and approve them with one click. | Very Low. Agents access live account directly, but campaigns are paused by default. |
| Platforms | Meta and Google (more coming soon) | Pipeboard wins here: Meta, Google, and TikTok. |
| Who is it for? | Marketers, founders & agencies who want to give advertising capabilities to their AI agents | Automation & growth engineers who want to build complex ads workflows. |
| Starting price | Adkit is a flat $49/month for the MCP capabilities (Free trial available) | Pipeboard has a limited free plan, then goes from $29/month to $199/month for full access. |
"Other tools I found were just proxies for the ads API. One bad call and you could mess up a live campaign. What I like about AdKit is that everything goes through a draft first. That buffer between your agent and your live account is what makes it safe to use."

The complete comparison
Connector VS whole toolbox
Pipeboard has one job: plug your AI agent into your ad accounts. That's the whole product. And if we only consider the connector aspect, Pipeboard wins: it has TikTok while AdKit doesn't (yet).
However...
AdKit gives you a full advertising toolbox! You can use it to scrape every ad your competitors run, or search in our library of 300,000+ ads (with hooks, video transcripts, and more)! You can then Clone them and launch them, all that via your agent. The MCP is just one part of Adkit.
Simplest way to see it: AdKit is like Ahrefs, but for ads. A full toolbox that you and your AI agents can use to run ads.
Two approaches to Ads MCP
Pipeboard mirrors Meta, Google, and TikTok APIs exactly. 85+ tools, every parameter exposed.
That sounds clean but in practice, but... raw platform APIs are a mess and are NOT made for agents. They have edge cases everywhere, and sometimes up to three ways to do the same thing that each behave differently. Even engineers who work with them daily struggles 😬
AdKit simplifies all that in an agent-friendly format. Less thinking needed for your agent = less chance of it messing up.

Safety & Security
Both are safe and secure apps approved by their respective ad platforms, but approach publishing differently.
Pipeboard makes changes directly in your live account, just paused. You review them in Ads Manager and flip them on. Safe enough: PAUSED = zero traffic.
AdKit takes the opposite route. Your live account stays untouched until you approve. Agents write drafts inside AdKit, you review, hit publish, and only then does Meta or Google see anything.
Both are safe, only difference is the blast radius: If a Pipeboard agent goes rogue, you get 200 paused campaigns to clean up in your account. If an AdKit agent goes rogue, the mess stays inside AdKit.

Built for different users
Pipeboard is made for technical users. If your job title ends in "engineer" and your day lives in a terminal, it'll feel right at home.
AdKit is made for marketers. In just one click, you get the whole ads workflow in your agent: Browse competitors in a UI. Save ads to a swipe file. Generate variations in Studio. Review drafts, hit publish. The agent is one piece inside a product built for the full job: research, brief, launch, watch.
Same category, different reader. Pick whichever matches your day.

Who's cheaper? 👀
If you ONLY want an MCP bridge for one ad account, Pipeboard wins! Plans range from $29 to $199/mo based on how many requests you send to their API. AdKit is $49/mo flat (or $34/mo via yearly plan).
However...
To get everything AdKit also do, you'd need to stack Pipeboard with a competitor tracking tool + ad creation + creative analysis. That's an easy $200/month extra, across three subscriptions.
AdKit gives you all of that for just $49/month 😀

"If you've ever tried any other MCP, you'll quickly realize that they might give you access to your data, but the moment you start creating campaigns, everything will break. And really, Adkit created something that just works like magic."

Still struggling to choose?
Pick AdKit if running ads is your actual job.
Your day is research, briefing, launching, watching results. Not writing integrations.
You want the full loop in one product: competitor tracking, swipe file, AI creative, safe launch.
You want drafts, not PAUSED. Your agent writes inside AdKit, not your live account. If it goes rogue, the mess stays contained.
You're fine with Meta and Google (TikTok isn't here yet).
That's marketers, founders running their own ads, growth leads, agencies.
Pick Pipeboard if you're wiring ads into a custom workflow.
You live in terminals, n8n, Cursor, custom Python. Bearer tokens don't scare you.
You want every API parameter exposed, with the flexibility that comes with it.
You need TikTok, and AdKit doesn't have it yet.
You've already got competitor research and creative tools covered. You just want the agent hookup.
If that's you, Pipeboard is a well-built pick.
"Now I can use my AI agent for monitoring competitors, creating static ads, publishing them, and analyzing their performance. This has 10x'd my capabilities to iterate on ads."

A word from the founder

Hi there 👋 I'm Nico, the founder of AdKit 😄
Before building startups, I was a media buyer. I managed over $1,000,000 in Ads, sold two startups grown with ads, and helped 1,000+ makers learn Meta Ads through my online guides.
I love ads but... it involves a lot of repetitive, boring work 😩 And I hated every second of it. So I built AdKit to fix that.
To let me and other marketers focus on the fun parts: the strategy, the thinking, the creativity. And not have to waste my time clicking around in buggy interfaces.
It's the app I always dreamed of, and I hope you'll like it too 😀
