Official and free
Meta's MCP is free during open beta. Authenticate with your Business account, you're up in 5 minutes. On price alone, Meta wins. $0 beats $49/month, always.
But it's a campaign controller. No competitor tracking, no ad library, no creative generation, no Google Ads. To match what AdKit does, you'd need a competitor tracker ($50+/mo), a creative tool ($30+/mo), and an ad library ($40+/mo). Three products, three logins. AdKit bundles all of that for $49/month.

PAUSED is not a draft
Meta's MCP creates real entities in your live account, set to PAUSED. You review in Ads Manager and flip them on. Safe enough.
But the agent can also activate them. The ads_activate_entity tool is right there in the 29-tool set. Ambiguous prompt + hallucination = paused campaign goes live.

Not available to everyone (yet)
Meta says it's available to "businesses of all sizes." In practice: rolling out account-by-account with a server-side flag. US first, ANZ expected H2 2026, EU and APAC unclear.
Annoying part: OAuth succeeds for everyone, so you won't know you're blocked until you try to use a tool. There's also a known Claude Code bug (GitHub issue #55002).
