Meet the Blend MCP alternative built for marketers
Blend MCP is a hosted ads MCP for running campaigns from your AI assistant across Google and Meta, with TikTok and Microsoft support marketed across its site. AdKit also gives your agent ad-management powers, but wraps them in a bigger marketer workflow: competitor tracking, swipe file, creative generation, and a draft-first publish layer.
The short version
| Dimension | Blend MCP | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | A complete ads toolbox with a built-in MCP. | A hosted ads MCP for assistant-led reporting and campaign management. |
| MCP Capabilities | Launch and manage campaigns on Meta and Google, track competitors, browse 300k+ ads, generate static ads. | Analyze performance, edit campaigns, shift budgets, generate copy, and manage cross-platform ads from chat. |
| Risk to mess up your ads | Zero. Agents write drafts inside AdKit and you review before anything goes live. | Higher than AdKit. Blend uses permissions and OAuth, but actions are designed to hit connected ad accounts directly. |
| Platforms | Meta and Google today, more coming soon. | Google and Meta are clear. TikTok is marketed heavily, Microsoft is still listed as coming soon on pricing. |
| Who is it for? | Marketers, founders, and agencies who want the full ads workflow in one product. | Marketers and agencies who want to control ad accounts from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or another MCP client. |
| Starting price | AdKit starts at $29/month, or $49/month with the MCP. | Blend starts at $29/month, then $79 and $199 as marketing-operation limits increase. |
The complete comparison
Cross-platform control vs whole ads workspace
Blend MCP is tighter than most ads MCPs. If your main job is telling Claude or ChatGPT to analyze spend, shift budgets, and edit campaigns across multiple channels, Blend is a serious option. It is clearly built for that one workflow.
AdKit solves a wider job. You do not just manage campaigns, you research them, save inspiration, generate creative, then launch through the same product. If your work starts with "what are competitors running?" and ends with "ship a safer draft," AdKit covers more of the day.
Blend wins on channel breadth, with one caveat
Official Blend pages repeatedly market Google, Meta, TikTok, and Microsoft support. That is the strongest case for Blend over AdKit today. AdKit is still Meta + Google.
The caveat is that Blend's own pages are not perfectly aligned. The homepage and setup guide talk about TikTok and Microsoft, while the pricing table still labels TikTok and Microsoft as Coming Soon in April 2026. So the honest reading is: Google and Meta are definitely core, TikTok looks at least partially shipped, Microsoft is still rolling out.

Permissions-first vs draft-first safety
Blend emphasizes official OAuth, TLS 1.3, platform partnerships, and granular permissions. That is real security. But it does not appear to use a separate draft workspace like AdKit does. Its pitch is that you can ask your assistant to take action and have those changes happen across connected ad accounts.
AdKit takes the opposite approach. Agents create drafts inside AdKit first, then you approve before anything touches Meta or Google. If an agent misfires, the cleanup stays inside AdKit instead of inside your live accounts.

Built for marketers, not for research
Blend is much more marketer-friendly than developer-first MCPs. No API keys, OAuth onboarding, named use cases like reporting, creative analysis, and cross-platform management. For agencies or in-house teams that live inside performance accounts all day, that focus is appealing.
Where Blend stops is upstream research. There is no competitor ad library, no swipe file, no drop-a-URL-and-track-everything workflow. If your process depends on watching rivals, spotting patterns, and turning them into new ads, AdKit is the better fit.

Cheaper entry point, narrower product
Blend starts at $29/month with a 7-day trial, so it beats AdKit on entry price if all you want is assistant-driven ad management. Growth is $79/month, Scale is $199/month, and all plans are limited by marketing operations.
AdKit's real comparison point is the $49/month MCP plan. That buys you the MCP plus competitor tracking, ad library access, swipe file, and AI creative tools. If you only want the control layer, Blend can be cheaper. If you want the whole marketer stack, AdKit gives you more per seat.

Still struggling to choose?
Pick AdKit if ads work starts before the campaign editor.
Your workflow includes competitor research, saving references, writing briefs, generating creative, then launching.
You want a draft-first system. Your agent should not write directly into live ad accounts.
You care more about the full marketer stack than squeezing every channel into one MCP today.
You are happy with Meta and Google right now.
That is founders, growth leads, and agencies who want one product for the whole loop.
Pick Blend MCP if your main job is controlling ad accounts from chat.
You want cross-platform reporting, optimization, and campaign edits inside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or another MCP client.
You manage multiple brands or client accounts and want AI to speed up day-to-day account work.
You want a lower entry price than AdKit's MCP plan.
You do not need built-in competitor tracking, swipe files, or a big ad library.
If your center of gravity is account management, Blend is a credible pick.
A word from the founder

Hi there 👋 I'm Nico, the founder of AdKit 😄
Before building startups, I was a media buyer. I managed over $1,000,000 in Ads, sold two startups grown with ads, and helped 1,000+ makers learn Meta Ads through my online guides.
I love ads but... it involves a lot of repetitive, boring work 😩 And I hated every second of it. So I built AdKit to fix that.
To let me and other marketers focus on the fun parts: the strategy, the thinking, the creativity. And not have to waste my time clicking around in buggy interfaces.
It's the app I always dreamed of, and I hope you'll like it too 😀
