Connect Perplexity to AdKit

Add AdKit to Perplexity as a custom connector, then manage Meta, Google, TikTok, and Reddit ads from a normal conversation. One connector covers every platform once your ad account is connected in AdKit.

Setup

1. Open Connectors. Go to Account settings → Connectors in Perplexity. If you don't see + Custom connector, remote connectors aren't turned on for your account or workspace yet.
2. Add a remote connector. Click + Custom connector, choose Remote, then fill in:
   • Name: AdKit
   • Authentication: OAuth
   • Transport: Streamable HTTP
   • URL:

   https://mcp.adkit.so
   

3. Turn it on. Add the connector, then click the AdKit card to sign in to AdKit and enable it.

Check it worked

Send this in a new chat. It confirms Perplexity can actually use AdKit:

Use the AdKit connector you just added and run the AdKit checkin tool with agentId: "perplexity".
If sign-in is needed, send me the link and wait for me to finish.
Then tell me if AdKit is connected and ready. If not, tell me what failed.

What you can do

Once connected, Perplexity can pull your live campaigns, draft budget and targeting changes, generate ad creatives, and research competitors. Nothing goes live on its own: every change is saved as a draft for you to review and publish.

Troubleshooting

There is no "+ Custom connector" option. Remote connectors aren't enabled for your Perplexity account or workspace yet. Ask your workspace admin, or check that your plan includes custom connectors.

You connected the wrong AdKit account. The sign-in step uses whoever is already logged in to AdKit in that browser. If you use several browsers or AdKit accounts, log in to the right one at app.adkit.so first. Then redo the sign-in from the connector card.

The connector is on but Perplexity stops using it. Long threads sometimes hold on to a broken session. Start a new thread and try again.

It worked before and stopped. The authorization expires after about 30 days without use. Reset it: revoke the old connection under Devices & Keys, remove the connector in Perplexity, and add it again.
