Connect Cursor to AdKit

Connect Cursor to AdKit through the MCP server and manage Meta, Google, TikTok, and Reddit ads.

Connect Cursor to AdKit and manage Meta, Google, TikTok, and Reddit ads while you work. The fastest way is the MCP server.

Open this link to install AdKit straight into Cursor:

Install with Cursor

Manual install

Add this to .cursor/mcp.json in your project, or ~/.cursor/mcp.json for every project:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "adkit": {
      "url": "https://mcp.adkit.so"
    }
  }
}

Check it worked

Paste this in Cursor's chat. It confirms Cursor can actually use AdKit:

Use the AdKit MCP server you just installed and run the AdKit checkin tool with agentId: "cursor".
If sign-in is needed, send me the link and wait for me to finish.
Then tell me if AdKit is connected and ready. If not, tell me what failed.

What you can do

Once connected, Cursor can pull your live campaigns, draft budget and targeting changes, generate ad creatives, and research competitors. Nothing goes live on its own: every change is saved as a draft for you to review and publish.

Troubleshooting

The one-click link does nothing. Your browser has to allow opening cursor:// links. If nothing happens, use the manual install above instead.

The server shows an error or no tools in Cursor's MCP settings. Check that mcp.json matches the block above exactly, save, and restart Cursor. A typo in the URL or a stray comma is the usual cause.

Cursor never asked you to sign in. Remove the adkit server, add it again, and complete the browser sign-in when it appears.

It worked before and stopped. The authorization expires after about 30 days without use. Sign in again when Cursor prompts, or revoke the old connection under Devices & Keys and reconnect.
